OCP Application
Anmore South aims to evolve over 25 years into a sustainable, semi-rural village blending diverse housing with nature, fostering local commerce, and preserving nearly half the land for public green spaces.
Envisioning a future where community and nature intertwine, Anmore South plans to cultivate a diverse, walkable village, enhancing local livelihoods while championing substantial preservation of green spaces, embodying the harmonious balance of progressive growth and sustainable living.


MAY 2024
Phase 1: Technical Due Diligence
In accordance with the Council-approved Terms of Reference, technical due diligence was conducted to assess the opportunities and constraints of the land. This phase included comprehensive biophysical, planning, and infrastructure inventories, forming the foundation for ongoing analysis and planning.
Community input played a vital role in Phase 1, and feedback gathered during this stage directly informed the planning process in subsequent phases.
SEPTEMBER 2024
Phase 2: Land Use Options
The Anmore South Neighbourhood Plan Draft Land Use Options, submitted for review by Village of Anmore Staff.
In accordance with Phase 2 of the Council-approved Terms of Reference, the Land Use Options have been prepared based on the Anmore South OCP Amendment Application Plan (March 2023), as well as technical findings and community feedback from Phase 1 of the process.

APRIL 2025
Phase 3: Preferred Plan
The Anmore South Neighbourhood Plan Draft Preferred Plan, submitted for review by Village of Anmore Staff.
In accordance with Phase 3 of the Council-approved Terms of Reference, the Draft Preferred Plan has been prepared based on the Phase 2 Draft Design Options and Council direction received following the October 2024 Committee of the Whole.
JUNE 2025
Phase 4: Neighbourhood Plan
The Anmore South Neighbourhood Plan, submitted for review by Village of Anmore Staff, was prepared in conjunction with a public planning process and extensive Village-led community consultation following a Council-approved Neighbourhood Plan Terms of Reference.
The Neighbourhood Plan includes Land Use descriptions, schedules and policies, infrastructure servicing concepts and schedules, implementation policies and Development Permit Guidelines that reflect the technical analysis and community direction established in earlier phases.
